Debra was undecided about whether to start her own business or take a job at a large consulting company in Australia, when she came across the BCM advert.
She was very drawn to the idea of running her own consulting business, without having to bill on an hourly basis. She was also attracted to the option of working from home and having flexible hours.
Her greatest motivation was the opportunity to assist companies and the idea of having a positive impact on a company’s profits sounded very rewarding.
Debra certainly wasn’t interested in having a retail outlet, as she had looked at many, and nothing appealed to her. The idea of unlimited income, without being limited to the number of hours in the day and how much you can charge per hour was different to other franchises she had explored. Working with a small number of companies rather than hundreds of consumers was also very inviting.
Key to Debra’s success has been her consistent direct marketing approach, which has really paid off for her. Scheduling a day every month to send letters and then follow them up has been a great success for her. She had tried other forms of marketing, but discovered that directly marketing her BCM services to prospective clients, provides, by far, the best results.
Debra holds the Master Franchise for Australia has learned that being selective with the franchisees she takes on board, does pay off in the long run.
